Things I have learned about love:
The very person you expect to protect you and shield you from all the vile evil hatred of the world is the very person to demonstrate just how terrible human beings really can be. You never expect the person you love to lie, you never expect them to hurt you do very deeply that time and distance don’t even begin to heal the wounds. But most of all, you never expect that the person that hurts you the most is the person you find your thoughts drifting too. They are the only person you think of the call or the one person you can talk to.
