So begins another week of less then desirable shifts at the beloved place of employment. Three straight days of 12-9. Therefore, waking up this morning was extremely difficult. Literally took an hour to even considering moving a single, very sore muscle. So once the bedside lamp went on I had to make a decision: to go to the gym or not to go to the gym? Since the boy and I had tried our hand at p90x last night my body was protesting even the thought of a treadmill or weight machine. So I prepared breakfast of Special K Red Berries with soy milk and a cup of coffee. While enjoying my breakfast I realized I had a sufficient about of time to digest said breakfast, go for a run, and shower before work. So thats exactly what I did. 3.25 miles, a shower and a post run snack I am pumped for work. I am so glad my inner runner decided to tell the lazy bum in my brain to take a hike.
